We provide a wide array of speech and language evaluations to determine you or your loved one’s speech therapy needs. Our experienced, ASHA certified and North Carolina state licensed Speech Language Pathologists provide initial speech and language evaluations to determine the need of speech and language therapy and on-going evaluations to determine the overall progress of meeting a patient's goals. Initial evaluations help determine a new patient’s speech and language therapy needs and whether ongoing treatment is required. There are many different speech and language evaluations that are used to determine if one qualifies for on-going treatment. These evaluations and screenings include Expressive and Receptive Language, Social Skills, Articulation, Phonology, Fluency/Stuttering, Voice, Auditory Perceptual Skills, Phonological Awareness, and more. On-going evaluations are used to help determine an existing patient’s progress of speech and language treatment and whether or not skills are being attained to meet the goals of the patient. The frequency of these re-evaluations can vary depending upon the severity of each speech and language condition and/or disorder.
