L&L Therapy Services, LLC, a family-owned and operated facility located in Gastonia, North Carolina, was founded on May 12, 2009 by Angela M. Lewis, MA, CCC-SLP and Matthew C. Lewis, PHR. In May, 2009, L&L Therapy Services, LLC developed a partnership with the Disability Determination Services (DDS), a North Carolina Government Agency that is funded by the federal government’s Social Security Administration (SSA), under the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS). This partnership was created for the purposes of providing speech therapy evaluations (consultative examinations) for determining disability benefits. L&L Therapy Services, LLC is an independent provider of speech therapy services including initial evaluations and therapies relating to receptive and express language disorders, oral-motor disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), articulation disorders, autism, voice disorders, cleft palate anomalies, aphasia, dysphagia, and various other speech and language disorders.
